Medicine is constantly evolving as we found out during the Pandemic, some of the most effective treatments were censored, leading to significant harm to the global population including the death of my sister from Covid19 aged 51. As a scientist, I promised myself to follow the science moving forward. If certain treatments were made available and not supressed, my sister would still be alive. Many Doctors were persecuted across the world for trying alternative treatments which saved lives. There are many lessons to be learnt from the Pandemic, especially to never trust blindly.
